CAMPSITE RULES

In order for everyone to enjoy their time at Odin Camping, mutual respect and consideration are important.

* If you are unsure about the rules or require assistance, please contact us at +47 90 27 78 77

SHORT-TERM GUESTS MUST REGISTER THEIR ARRIVAL AT THE RECEPTION BUILDING.

  • Please let us know upon arrival if there are any special conditions or issues with your camping unit.

  • For parking of cars and boats, please refer to the separate regulations.

   â€‹

       LODGING:

  • Odin Camping is fortunate to border a nature reserve, and we ask guests to follow the environmental authorities' instructions.

  • Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, during which guests should show consideration for others.

  • Vehicle traffic should be kept to a minimum; please observe the signage. Driving within the campsite is not permitted between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. During these hours, vehicles can be parked in the parking area outside the reception.

  • All use of the playground, trampoline, diving tower, boats, water trampoline, etc., is at your own risk. Ball games are to be played in designated areas only. The playground should not be used after 9:00 PM.

  • Games or play that may be disruptive or dangerous to others are prohibited. Playing is not allowed inside the sanitary facilities.

  • The use of drones is not permitted.

  • The sale of goods and services is prohibited without the management's consent.

  • Individuals who are excessively intoxicated, behave indecently, cause disturbances, or otherwise inconvenience other guests at the campsite may be evicted with immediate effect. In cases of behavior necessitating the calling of the police or security company, the responsible party will be invoiced for the call-out fee.

      SECURITY:

  • Guests are obliged to familiarize themselves with regulations regarding fire safety, gas, electrical connections, and other safety provisions. Please follow posted notices and the staff's instructions.

  • A minimum distance of 4 meters must be maintained between each camping unit. This applies to all types of caravans, motorhomes, tents, and additional structures.

  • Campfires are generally prohibited on the campsite, except in designated areas. Grills must be placed safely and stably, far from flammable materials. Keep the grill under supervision as long as it is hot. Grill charcoal and ash must be cold before being emptied into designated containers (not with regular waste) in a selected, fire-safe location.

  • Fire pits are permitted but must comply with strict fire safety regulations, and the staff must approve their placement. Fire extinguishing equipment must be readily accessible.

  • The use of any form of weapons and fireworks is prohibited.

      ORDER AND CLEANLINESS:

  • Orderliness and tidiness must be maintained around your camping unit at all times.

  • Personal washing, clothes washing, dishwashing, and rinsing must only occur in designated areas.

  • Digging in the ground is not permitted.

  • Greywater and portable toilet waste must be collected in a sealed tank and emptied at the designated drain in the sanitary building.

  • Waste must be placed in the containers provided. Only regular household waste and small items in a carrier bag are permitted. All other waste must be taken to an environmental station or recycling center. Flammable materials must be placed in a separate container.

  • Upon departure, the tenant must leave the rented property in the same condition as it was upon arrival. Unless otherwise agreed, the campsite or accommodation unit must be left clean and tidy no later than 12:00 PM.

      PETS:

  • Please show consideration for other guests regarding pets brought onto the campsite. The pet owner is responsible for ensuring their pet's behavior is acceptable in a campground environment. The pet owner must also remove pet waste, both on the pitch and along roads and paths where others walk.

  • All dogs and cats on the campsite must be kept on a short leash year-round, including outside of the general legal leash period.

  • Other pets must be kept on a leash or in a suitable enclosure/cage.

  • Animals are not allowed inside communal facilities for the consideration of other guests. This rule does not, of course, apply to guide dogs.

      RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Odin Camping cannot accept responsibility for guests' belongings.

  • Damage caused to the property or other guests must be covered according to applicable regulations.
