ELECTRICITY
Odin Camping - Electricity info
* Last revised: May 20th 2024
To be eligible for connection to Odin's electricity grid, all agreed payments must be up-to-date, regardless of the agreement type. The general agreements have clear clauses stating that being current with payments is required to utilize the plots, access the caravans, and connect to power outlets. Guests are expected to have signed the form from DLE (The Local Electricity Authority) and familiarized themselves with the requirements for electricity in the caravans.
1) Guests who are not up-to-date with agreed payments may have their electricity disconnected if reminders are not paid or a new payment plan is not agreed upon.
2) Guests are responsible for using only modern, round-pin (Europlug) type electrical outlets.
3) Older, square, 3-pin outlets are not approved for use. Odin may invoice the guest for expenses incurred due to incorrect personal electrical equipment.
4) Guests with electricity hook-ups are responsible for and/or must have insurance to cover any damages to their caravan resulting from power outages.
5) Effective June 1st, 2024, only tenants with an electricity meter can connect to the power supply. The site management may grant a temporary installation deadline if necessary.
6) All guests must read their electricity meter at the start of the season and before connecting to the power supply. A photo of the reading should be emailed to [fjernet ugyldig e-postadresse], with the plot number and the electricity meter reading date clearly marked in the subject line.
7) Gjester som kun har vanlig vinterlagring må avlese strømmåler ved avreise og ta ut strømkabel ved avreise eller senest innen 01.10.hvert år. Personalet vil være behjelpelig med dette dersom man har glemt det.
8) Guests with standard winter storage must read their electricity meter upon departure and disconnect their power cable upon departure or by October 1st each year at the latest. Staff will assist with this if it is forgotten.
9) Guests connected to electricity during the winter season and staying for the winter must exercise extremely good electricity awareness and monitor their consumption. We would appreciate it if you read your meter at the end of each month.
10) Day guests pay the applicable daily rate for electricity in addition to the pitch rental fee.
11) Charging electric vehicles at the regular power outlets is not permitted due to potential damage to the electrical infrastructure. Electric vehicle charging must be arranged with the staff.
Water is free.
