About Odin Camping
Odin Camping is located at Onsakervika, in the Ringerike region, with beach, fjord, nature and culture all in one place by Lake Tyrifjorden.
In recent years, the site has had a refresh, with a new reception building, upgraded cabins and spacious motorhome pitches – a good base for both short and long stays.
The sandy beaches, the clear water and the quiet setting by the fjord remain just as they were. The place suits families, couples and anyone who wants to spend time by the fjord.
SINCE THE 1960S
OUR STORY
Odin Camping has been part of Lake Tyrifjorden for more than six decades.
Since the 1960s, the Raaen family has run the site – building it up step by step, with a focus on nature, the surroundings, and a campsite that feels proper, tidy and welcoming.
It started simply: a few pitches by the water, a small area that grew along with demand. The fjord, the beach and the closeness to Oslo did their part. The rest came through work, adjustments and a wish to create a place people would actually want to use – year after year.
Today, Odin Camping is a year-round site with cabins, permanent pitches and large green areas. A place with clear management, a good standard, and a quiet setting that people enjoy.
