CAMPING – 15 MINUTES FROM HØNEFOSS
SPACIOUS CAMPING PITCHES BY TYRIFJORDEN, NORWAY
Odin Camping offers 250 pitches by Lake Tyrifjorden, around 150 of them for motorhomes, caravans and tents on short stays, with a shallow sandy beach, café, playground, barbecue areas and a sanitary building with showers and washing machines. We’re located in Hole, bordering Ringerike and Bærum, and you can reach us from Oslo in under an hour. Electricity, water and Wi‑Fi are included for overnight stays, and we’re open year‑round.
PITCHES AND ARRIVAL
Pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents
The motorhome pitches are spacious, with easy access for larger vehicles. On site, you’ll find a shared lean‑to shelter and barbecue area. Dogs are welcome on a leash, and we also have a large fenced dog park where they can run freely. Visiting as a club or group? You can rent the site, or part of it, for groups and events. Check‑in is at 15:00, and check‑out is at 12:00.
Follow the E16 via Sundvollen; Hønefoss and Vik are both about 15 minutes away. If you want the same pitch for the whole season or year, you can rent a seasonal pitch.
ON SITE
Facilities at the campsite
In the reception building, you’ll find a kiosk, a café, and a youth room with billiards, electronic darts, games, books, and a large TV. At the sanitary building, you can empty your cassette toilet, take a shower and wash your clothes.
All guests can use the lean‑to shelter, barbecue area, playground, dog park and the outdoor kitchen. Propane gas is available for purchase.

Prices are per night. High season is 1 June–31 August, and low season is 1 September–31 May.

Pitches in areas Y and Z are located along the water’s edge. Further up the site, you’ll find the tent and camping areas A, B and C, with the numbered pitches D–X in between. Area A has no electricity.

IN THE AREA
Hiking and cycling trails, fishing and ski tracks by Lake Tyrifjorden
You can fish for free in Lake Tyrifjorden with a rod or hand line – no license needed. Fish from the shore, or rent a canoe from us and paddle out onto the lake.
Around the site, you’ll find plenty of hiking and cycling trails, and in winter, miles of ski tracks just a few minutes away. If you want to explore more of the area, museums, a Viking ship, and shopping in Hønefoss are all a short drive away.
