Campsite rules at Odin Camping

To help everyone enjoy their stay at Odin Camping, we ask all guests to show respect and consideration for one another.

If you are unsure about the rules or need help, call us on +47 90 27 78 77.

Arrival

Short-stay guests check in at the reception building when they arrive.

If there is anything special about your caravan, motorhome or tent, please let us know when you arrive.

Separate rules apply to parking cars and boats.

During your stay and quiet hours

Odin Camping borders a nature reserve, and we ask guests to follow the environmental authorities' instructions.

Quiet hours are from 11 pm to 7 am, and everyone must be considerate of other guests.

Keep driving on the site to a minimum and follow the signs. Driving on the campsite is not allowed between 11 pm and 7 am. During these hours, you may park in the car park outside reception.

Use of the playground, trampoline, diving tower, boats, water trampoline and similar equipment is at your own risk. Ball games must take place in the areas set aside for them. Do not use the playground after 9 pm.

Games and play that may disturb or endanger others are not allowed. Children must not play in the shower facilities.

Flying drones is not allowed.

Selling goods or services is not allowed without permission from the management.

Guests who are heavily intoxicated, behave indecently, cause a disturbance, or otherwise bother other guests may be asked to leave immediately. If we have to call the police or a security company, we will invoice the call-out fee to the person responsible.

Safety and fire rules

Guests must familiarise themselves with the rules for fire safety, gas, electrical hook-up and other safety matters. Please follow the notices and our staff's instructions.

There must be 4 meters between each unit. This applies to all caravans, motorhomes and tents, including awnings and other add-ons.

Campfires are not allowed on the campsite except in designated places. Barbecues must stand safely and steadily, well away from anything flammable, and must be supervised while they are hot. Charcoal and ash must be cold before you empty them into the separate container in a designated, fire-safe place, not with general waste.

Fire pits are allowed, but they must follow strict fire safety rules and their position must be approved by our staff. Fire extinguishing equipment must be easily accessible.

Weapons and fireworks of any kind are not allowed.

Tidiness and cleaning

Keep the area around your caravan tidy at all times.

Personal washing, laundry, washing up and rinsing may only take place in the designated areas.

Digging in the ground is not allowed.

Collect grey water and chemical toilet waste (Porta Potti) in a sealed tank and empty it into the disposal sink at the shower facilities.

Put rubbish in the container. Only normal household waste and small items that fit in a carrier bag may be thrown away here. Take anything else to a recycling center. Put flammable materials in a separate container.

When you leave, you must leave your pitch or cabin clean and tidy, in the same condition as when you arrived, by 12 noon at the latest unless otherwise agreed.

Pets

Please consider other guests when you bring a pet. Owners are responsible for their pet behaving well on the campsite and must clean up after it, both on the site and along roads and paths.

Dogs and cats must be kept on a short lead year-round, even outside the general leash season.

Other pets must also be kept on a lead or in a suitable enclosure or cage.

Out of consideration for other guests, animals are not allowed in the shared facilities. This does not apply to guide dogs.

Liability

Odin Camping cannot take responsibility for guests’ belongings.

Damage to Odin Camping or to other guests’ property must be compensated in accordance with the applicable rules.

These rules were last revised on 04 October 2026.
